An exploration of how gesso, a canvas primer, can conserve fresh produce. This project began in 2022 with a lime from a party and an attempt to preserve both the lime and the memories of that night. Since then, many fruits and veg have been added to this collection, in an attempt to represent distorted memory and inevitable flaws in trying to preserve anything in its current state. 
 
What started out as a sculptural project has since been used in print alongside moldy and decaying failed attempts in this book.
